Doctors Concerned For Health Of Castaway Jose Salvador Alvarenga

Tried clicking the 'contact' button on the bottom here. Took me to a screen of more tiles. Then tried to hit the 'contact' button on the bottom of that screen, but since new stupid tiles keep loading, I can't actually click it before it's gone again. *sigh* Maybe it's time to give …
Bag it! California close to ban on plastic for grocery shopping
Fri Jan 24, 2014
Has anyone done analysis that shows how many times a reusable bag has to be used before it is a net benefit? The reusable ones are sturdier and heavier so they last longer. I assume they also take take more resources to manufacture and ship and take up more landfill space when they are ' …
Facebook like an infectious disease, will lose 80 percent of users, says Princeton study

How to close the gender gap at work? Strike a pose
Wed Jan 15, 2014
I guess you missed the part where the 'power pose' is done in private and is used as essentially a self pep-talk? I think it's an interesting technique as the mind and body DO affect one another.
Screen all pregnant women for diabetes, task force says
Mon Jan 13, 2014
I wonder how many doctors were NOT already doing the screening. I don't know anyone pregnant in the past 12 years who did not get the mandatory gestational diabetes screening. It was the bane of many of us who suffered through morning sickness and weren't sure we could keep that drink do …
Flu season worsens across US
Fri Jan 10, 2014
I have never gotten the flu the years I've gotten the vaccine. I have had the flu on two occasions where I did not get the vaccine. I think they help a lot. Isn't anecdotal evidence grand?
